Parking areas and Garages

The amount of cars in tlarge cities of Russia has been steadily increasing lately. Thus, the amount of parking objects is obviously not enough for maintenance of the growing motor-car park. However the state of a car is influenced not only by its technical service and movement, but also by the conditions of permanent and temporal parking: a car spends far more time on the parking place, than in the movement. Today one can feel a deficit of garages and parking places practically everywhere.

The authorities of some large cities try to solve this problem. Decisions, directed to the arrangement of the car storage organization system, are accepted, developed, and the programs of mass building of garages and parking places are successfully realized. The special attention is paid here to the preliminary stage: planning of garages and parking places is to be conducted taking into account new normative requirements.

Planning of garages and parking areas is carried out in accordance with the conceptual issues of normative documents in modern building, according to the requirements of fire safety, taking into account the town-planning situation of the building district, existing transport charts of the adjoining streets, ecological situation, location of engineering communications et cetera.

Planning of garages depends on a great number of factors: plot location place in the city building, position of garages in the relation to the earth level, floor of a future structure, terms of storage, storage organizations et cetera While parking place planning one takes into account the area, necessary for the stand of one car, information about the turns of cars, location and so on.
